Autumn Leaves

So much to catch up on! This is (obviously) a picture of a tree in full Autumn bloom - part of the magic that was the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. How convenient that my other knitting group, Project Knitaway chose "Autumn Leaves" as the November challenge...

This is not the best picture, but this is my Autumn Leaves inspired scarf (lightly blocked). The pattern is Brooke's Column of Leaves Scarf by Brooke Nelson. I love the pattern and have enjoyed working on it so far. The yarn is a Rhinebeck purchase. Brooks Farm Acero (I think color 52). Superwash wool/silk/viscose. Love it! Hopefully I will finish this scarf sooner than later so I can actually wear it this season.
In other news, I'M BACK! Hunky Boyfriend is now Hotty Hubby. We got married November 18 and honeymooned immediately afterwards in Italy. I tried to yarn shop in Florence, but all I could find was 11 skeins of Italian cashmere. Sucks to be me.
I have been knitting quite a bit and promise to update more regularily!
