Cashew wuz here

What started as Mommy going through her stash quickly became a literal activity.

We squished yarn, tossed it, moved on to the next. I admit, I was having a lot of fun, too. Who wouldn't want to dive in to a bag of yarn and roll around in it?

Cashew loves to unravel.

I sensed that she wasn't going to be as enthusiastic about cleaning up yarn (despite it being yarn and that typically takes the edge off of everything) so it was no surprise when she moved on. Rather quickly, I might add.

Oh, that's adorable! Yes, every activity takes twice as much effort with a baby, but it's also more fun. Lilah's been "helping" me with laundry, which typically means I'm retrieving our clean clothes from odd parts of the house. Looks like a good time.

I showed my husband your stash pictures, as he thought my under-the-bed plastic bin was an unreasonable amount of yarn. He now has some perspective :)

She's talented! Maybe there should be a new forum on Ravelry for toddler UnRavelers. :-)

wow, girlfriend, you have some stash. and some cajones too, to let the lil' cashew into it. it looks like she had a ball. i have given the boys some leftovers, but found them winding it around each others' necks and had to put an end to that fun. boys. it figures they would make yarn hazardous.

She looks so cute, and so lucky to have a mother with such a bag of goodies. First an Unraveler, then on to Ravelry? :-)

Love that you let it all show! I no longer feel guilty about the little bits of stash I have in every room (its less stash that way, really). My widgets knit on their own now, how time flies....

It is very beautiful! If my daughters had had such an interest in diving in the bag when the lines were children, maybe today they knew knitting.
