The move that was supposed to happen in
September October November December January I give up is finally happening. In 7 days, I will have a new home. At last, we have closed on our apartment. I have been busy organizing the move and finalizing furniture purchases, selling the stuff we no longer need, choosing and then re-choosing window treatments and stressing over white paint. Seriously, how many shades of white are there?!?
Times like these call for stockinette! Lots and lots of it.

I love all those names for white especially timid white!?! who comes up with these names? good luck on deciding which white to paint.
whatever you pick- make it semi-gloss for little hands!!! you'll be doing some marker washing soon!
wishing you a smooth move!
Congratulations - I hope you will be really, really happy in your new home :-)
heh, i was going to say the same as HPNY.. eggshell or semi-gloss. i've already washed black newsprinty handprints off my walls. we have a white on some of our walls that has a hint of brown in it. so nice.
glad to hear you've almost moved!!
Criminy, it's white! What the hell could possibly be so different about them? HowEVER, since you do need to choose, I say go for Grand Teton White cuz it has the coolest name. Then you can tell everyone that your walls have big tits!
Good luck with your move. :)
Ooo, very exciting! Good luck!
I hope your move goes smoothly, and the white paint choosing goes well!
good luck on the move, i know, choosing the right white is a chore. hope all goes well.
How exciting! I hope you share pics of your new home!
Calm = stockinette = therapy
Exciting! Yay! Moving with a little one is SO FUN! Seriously, I hope it goes very smoothly for you. And I'm very impressed, because we didn't even attempt to paint before moving in. Or since we've moved in, actually.
Paint manufacturers must pay someone to come up with names for all those whites. Mind-boggling. I have no opinion on the color, but I've noticed that food flung to the wall is hard to chip off whatever we have (it's a flat, not semi-gloss), and often leaves a blank spot when wiped off with a sponge. I'm just sayin'.
I know lots of whites! My fav is Linen white
Good Luck!
Wow! congrats on the, almost, move - lots of luck with everything, especially that picking white paint thing. Mind boggling.
Yes, that surely calls for lots and lots of stockinette. Hope the move goes well.
