Trekking At Last

Finally, I Trek!

Color 105 and I enjoyed a little walk up to Carl Schurz Park. Here we are taking in a view of the Triboro Bridge from the East River.

Taking a break from the crazy humidity. (Chevron Socks from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch) Fraternal socks, hooray!

I enjoyed some pretty flowers.

The socks did, too.

To head home, we decide to walk south along the river and cross over the FDR. It was a lovely, though short trek. More to come...

I love the colors you choose for your projects. They aren't colors I would normally pick but then when I see you knitting them up, I always think they are so pretty.

Hi Annie. This my first visit to your blog, but as I read it, I laughed when I realized that you and I are participating in the many of the same KALs and knitting the same projects! And my daughter's name is Annie! Great knits!
