Trekking At Last
Finally, I Trek!
Color 105 and I enjoyed a little walk up to Carl Schurz Park. Here we are taking in a view of the Triboro Bridge from the East River.
Taking a break from the crazy humidity. (Chevron Socks from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch) Fraternal socks, hooray!
I enjoyed some pretty flowers.
The socks did, too.
To head home, we decide to walk south along the river and cross over the FDR. It was a lovely, though short trek. More to come...

Love the photos.
I'll be putting something in the mail to you around the end of the week. ;-)
Lurving the Trekking...final pic looks like it wants to jump onto the FDR though LOL and the Cala Lily stuff is go-jus!
That trekking looks like a pretty colorway. Great pics! Seems you'll have a fantastic view of the fireworks Tuesday!
It looks like you and Color #105 had a good time!
Stargazer lilies are my favorites. So pretty!
all the lovely things in the same colorway as 105.
ya for mini treks. humid in NYC, ahmmmm... very hot in Paris but not humid.
:-)
I've got colour 105 to try next. Your socks look fab. Perhaps mind should take a little trek/stroll along the Thames...
How cool! Love the trek!...oh and the sock too! :)
I love the colors you choose for your projects. They aren't colors I would normally pick but then when I see you knitting them up, I always think they are so pretty.
How perfect to trek with your treking!
Hi Annie. This my first visit to your blog, but as I read it, I laughed when I realized that you and I are participating in the many of the same KALs and knitting the same projects! And my daughter's name is Annie! Great knits!
I like how the cars looked doomed by the knitting in the last pic. I need to try 2 socks on same needles. ciao!
